Welcome to Gaspen

Gaspen Pty Ltd is a third generation building company with over fifty years of experience. We are Tony (2nd generation, in the building game since 1977) and Shaun (3rd generation, since 1986). George, Tony’s father and Shaun’s grandfather is now in his nineties having a well- deserved break.

We moved to North Queensland in 1995 where we have enjoyed calling it home, loving the weather, the fishing and the people. We are proud of the fact that we buy our materials and tools from locally owned suppliers. We also have a strong connection with our local sub-contractors whom we trust and work closely with.

Being carpenters we love to work with timber and really enjoy a challenge. Queenslanders are definitely our specialty, however we are not limited to this building style. When it comes to building, we do it all! From maintaining existing structures, to enhancing a current space, to creating something totally new.

Our aim is to make you happy. We want to give you an honest, no BS building experience. We are not salesmen, we are simply builders. We have the experience in the industry to help with your design ideas and the skills to build it to your expectations. Most importantly, we don’t blow our own bags and claim to be the best builder in town, we let our workmanship speak for itself.
